He is holding a Chief Engineer license (UK CoC) and working as a chief Engineer at MSC Ship Management. He started his journey as a seafarer in 2005. He was a Former franchise lecturer of Liverpool John Moores University, UK. He is fully cognizant of the syllabus and the exam pattern of management level and EOOW level. His onboard experience always reflects through his teaching. He taught professional subjects like Engineering knowledge general/motor to more than 400 students in his teaching career throughout his 12 year’s teaching experience. He is passionate about teaching and connecting students to the solution of real-time problems arising onboard.

DR. SACHIN SHINDE - ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

Dr. Sachin Shinde is a dedicated educator with a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering and over 11 years of teaching experience. Currently serving as Professor and Associate Director at OMTC. He has also spent a year in industry, adding practical insight to his academic role. He specializes in subjects such as Naval Architecture, Applied Heat, Control Engineering, and Thermal Systems. His research focuses on refrigeration, heat pump development, drying technologies, and thermal engineering-bridging innovation with marine and mechanical education.

DR. Sharad patil - head of maritime programmes

Dr. Sharad Patil is an accomplished academician with over 10 years of teaching experience and a Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering. He serves as the Professor and Head of Maritime Programmes at OMTC. His expertise in subjects like Mechanics, Heat, Mathematics, Engineering Workshop, and Drawing. He brings both depth and clarity to complex technical concepts. His research spans are design and development of machineries and equipment, solid-liquid filtration, drying processes, and new product development. He also holds 2 years of industry experience, blending practical knowledge with academic excellence.

C/E KISHORE KUMAR PARIDA - DEAN ADACEMIC

Mr. Kishore Parida is a Chief Engineer (INDIAN COC) with over 27 years of sailing experience and more than a decade of teaching since 2010. He brings a strong blend of practical knowledge and academic clarity, making complex marine engineering topics easier to understand.

Specializing in EOOW and Management Level training, he aligns his teaching with current MCA exam patterns and syllabus. His onboard experience adds real-world depth to his sessions, helping students connect theory with practical applications. Dedicated and approachable, he has guided hundreds of students toward successful maritime careers.
