Chief Mate Deck UK COC (Unlimited II/2)
Oceanlink Maritime College (OMTC), in collaboration with City of Glasgow College (COGC), UK, provides guidance and preparatory training for qualified Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate holders seeking to obtain the UK MCA Chief Mate Deck Certificate of Competency (Unlimited II/2).
This management-level qualification prepares deck officers for senior leadership positions onboard merchant vessels and serves as an important step towards obtaining a Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency.

Candidates should generally possess:
- Minimum 12 months sea service as a Watchkeeping Officer
- Valid OOW Unlimited Certificate of Competency (II/1)
- Sea service on vessels generally above 80 GRT / 24 metres
- Navigational watchkeeping certificates supporting sea service
- Valid CDC and Sea Service Testimonials

NOE is required to appear for oral examination. If the student is applying the UK COC for the first time, he needs to send original copies of all the documents (Except passport), otherwise he can send scanned copies through the Email to MCA.
OMTC assists students in filling out the NOE application form.
Student needs to pay 220 GBP through an International Debit/Credit card.
